What will JamCash do?
JamCash will cover the whole picture: what you own and owe, where the money goes, what repeats, and what you are saving for.
Accounts and net worth
JamCash will track checking, savings, credit card, loan and investment accounts, and add them up into one net worth figure.
Transactions and rules
JamCash will file transactions into categories you define, using rules that match the description by text, prefix or pattern.
Budgets
A JamCash budget will be one amount per category per month, compared against what you actually spent, with optional rollover.
Savings goals
Yes. Each savings goal will have a target, a balance and a monthly contribution, and JamCash will project when you will reach it.
Recurring bills and income
Yes. JamCash will detect charges that repeat and suggest them as recurring items, which you confirm or dismiss.
Reports and analytics
JamCash will include three reports, spending by category, income vs expense by month, and net worth over time, each exportable to CSV.
Bank sync through SimpleFIN
JamCash will connect to banks through SimpleFIN Bridge, a read-only service: you paste a one-time setup token and JamCash pulls the last 90 days on each sync.
MCP server and REST API
Yes. JamCash will run an MCP server with ten tools, so assistants such as Claude can read your balances and budgets and file transactions.

Budget each category per month, set savings targets, and see where you stand at a glance.
